Effective for the vaccination of healthy dogs 8 weeks of age or older against canine influenza (H3N2 and H3N8) virus infection. This product contains canine influenza strains A/Illinois/12191/2015 (H3N2) and A/Canine/Iowa/13628/2005 (H3N8).
- Canine immune response to CIV can be severe and result in suppurative pneumonia and cell death.1-3 Vaccination can help prevent coinfections and worsening clinical morbidity as well as prevent or reduce subclinical lung lesions.4-6Â
- Killed vaccine – cannot transmit CIV because it is unable to replicate to cause disease; therefore safe for administration around immunocompromised pet owners/veterinary staff.

Healthy dogs should receive 2 doses administered 3 weeks apart. The need for annual booster vaccinations has not been established for this product; consultation with a veterinarian or the manufacturer is recommended.
